I was buying these for my adult daughter. I had read that these run small so I ordered my daughter's regular size 7 and also 7.5, figuring that I could keep the bigger one if it was too big for her. But it turned out that 7.5 size was too big for me but her size fit her fine. But the 7's also fit me. I think these wide sandals also have a wider arch strap which was too big for me, even though I have high arches. My foot was flopping around and didn't feel secure or comfortable. But the width of the base was just right, for both her and me, and we don't have particularly wide feet. I got the wide just because the color i wanted wasn't avail in the regular width.

I got one pair in gold and one in platinum because I really couldn't tell from the photos what the difference was. I would say the platinum also looks gold, but just slightly less yellow. I actually prefer it. Both are pretty shiny, but I think hopefully over time will fade and be a little bit less flashy.

My daughter is happy with hers, the gold 7.5's are getting returned.
